Her groove-laden New Orleans boogie, deeply soulful ballads and rollicking Gulf Coast blues have made her a one-of-a-kind favorite with music fans all over the world. In 2010, she was inducted into the Gulf Coast Music Hall Of Fame and in 2012 into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. She's received a total of six Living Blues Awards and nine Blues Music Awards (and has a whopping 42 nominations). She's received five Grammy Award nominations, including for four of her five previous Alligator albums. Always a songwriter of renown, Ball delved deeper into songwriting than she ever had in her career with her Grammy-nominated 2011 Alligator release, Roadside Attractions, creating one of her best and most personal albums.

This is a fun run event for children ages 3 to 10 years old. 100% of the proceeds from this event support the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry and its’ Food4Kids Programs. Kids can help fight hunger in our area by joining in this fun running event! Leg(L) 1= 3.4 Miles(M), L2=3.5M, L3=2.6M, L4=1.2M, L5=2.6M, L6=3.5M, L7=2.8M, L8=2.5M, L9=3.4M, L10=.6M DISTANCES Marathon (26.2 miles) -Boston Certified Qualifier Half or 2 Person Relay (13.1 miles) 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) Kid's- varies each age; not over 1 mile. THE COURSES Registration, start and finish are all next to each other and within 1 block walking distance! The course is flat and has scenic diversity. SUNDAY, AUGUST 20 AT 5:45 A.M. Lakeside Park, 158 E. Harbor View Dr., Fond du Lac 10th Annual Race the Lake is a 100 mile bike race around the majestic Lake Winnebago, full of scenic diversity and is enjoyed by all abilities from professional to the beginning cyclists. Do the event as an individual, or with a team! DISTANCE 100 Miles-Century Ride The course will stage the dramatic start at 52 W. Scott Street in Fond du Lac. The journey begins by heading north hugging the west side of Lake Winnebago and traveling through Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, Appleton and to the half way point at High Cliff State Park. Riders then take the east shoreline of Lake Winnebago - taking in lots of greenery, the mammoth blue lake and fresh country air. The course goes through Calumetville, Marytown, and St. Peter, and finishes at Lakeside Park (158 E. Harbor Drive) in Fond du Lac. PERKS Dri-wickshirt, finishers' medal, computer chip timing. Also receive a pasta dinner and FREE beer after the event. AWARDS Cash prims: Awards given to the overall male/female and traditional age divisions.
